ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:No one responded to his nock at the door which puzzled Negi as he didn’t see anyone leave the building. He touched the door again and found that it was still very cold. Even if the sun was setting it was warm outside so for the cold to be lingering something inside had to be keeping it cold. Then a thought hit him. A frost spell of some sort would explain for it, but it didn’t seem to be going right now. That left two options. If it was recently casted the door would eventually melt and cool. If it was just a big spell then that door could be hard for hours and if so could be the reason the caster didn’t answer. With a big sheet of ice in front of the door it would be impossible to.
Negi thought about what he should do for a second. If the ice was thick it could be reasonable that the spell backfired on them and they were stuck, but if they weren’t breaking and entering isn’t something you would want to be known for. Still the thought of being right on his first though and doing nothing sounded worse than being wrong and going in so he began to search for a way in.
All the ground level stuff was boarded up and all felt as ice cold as the door so chances are getting in through there wasn’t going to happen. Looking up though, he noticed that there was a second story to the building. Hoping there would be easier access up there Negi took off his bulky backpack and pulled out his staff. Negi then got on and flew up to the top of the building. The top looked as poor as the rest of the house but still stood decently. Flying around to the backside of the building he saw a window he could get in. Unlike the windows at the bottom this one was only mildly boarded with two boards crossing each other in the shape of an X. Pulling on the board proved to be a wasted effort as they were nailed in tight. Realizing he was going to have to break them open Negi flew away from the widow a bit.
“Flians exarmatio,” Negi said as the wave of wind blasted the boards into the room.
Upon entering the upper floor, Negi found it was rather cramped and that it was more of an attic than it was a true second floor. Negi then flew back up to the window and crawled in taking his staff with him. It seems like the spell hadn’t affected the second floor and Negi took that bit for granted as he made his way to the steps. Making his way down the steps, Negi wasn’t really paying attention to the large sheet of ice that hung down from the ceiling of the lower floor as the stairs made their way below it and hit his head hard on it. The ice on the steps then played its role in turn as Negi’s feet were quickly out from under him and he proceeded to take a short tumble down the rest of the steps. With the last of the momentum, he then slid out at the base of the steps before coming to a stop.
“Ouch,” he said slowly and softly as he laid there thinking how stupid he was for not thinking.
ANYTHING ELSE?: Not really.
