ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:ANYTHING ELSE?: Kabs... i also play Crystal.Crystal walked in the coffee joint as the fresh ground beans hit her nose, god did she love that smell. Smiling at a woman holding her half asleep daughter’s hand as the passed Crystal on their way out. Chris recognized the girl as one that she saw at the church. She knew the mother must have been some way affiliated with the street lords. One of her men walked in behind her and she cocked her head at him. He waved as he walked over to the register ordering himself a bagel and juice. She was surprised Daniel was up at this hour as it was only peeking at 6:30am. She just shrugged it off as she then made her way to counter herself.
Crystal was always wide in the mornings. She never slept long anymore. She couldn’t with the nightmares, the constant feeling she was being watched, and the wanting to stop all the fighting. Crystal mind was racing at a mile a minute these days and sleep was at the end of list. Walking up the counter she stretched a bit and smiled at peppy girl from behind the counter. From what she found out this girl was new to St. Ven as Chris had been taking to calling it. Mostly because she noticed it got on Valden nerves. The girl didn’t know her well and smiled when the manager had step from the back room. Nodding a good morning at him he shuffled quickly back to the back. The fear in his eyes… the looks she could never get past the looks people gave her now.
Smiling at the girl as she tapped her fingers on the counter top. “Hmm I think ill take vanilla latte and one of those twist thingies” Smiling as she pulled out her wallet she handed her a bill. Then her eyes lingered on a picture of Donna. God did she miss her. The young girl looked at her then the picture. “Is that your grandmother ?” the young cashier asked. Snapping back to her sense Chris quickly put the wallet back in her pocket. “Mother” she muttered. “But she looks so old.” the highschooler rattled off. “She will be 61 in two weeks” Chris nodded with a matter of fact stare. Then with out saying anything she took her coffee and her cinnamon bun and smiled with a polite but curt “Thank you”
Shuffling to and empty table she sat down and began to pick apart the roll slowly. That’s when she noticed someone sit down with her. Glancing up she saw it was Daniel. “Morning… Need something?” Chris obviously wanted to be alone but she always made herself be free if anyone wanted to talk even if they weren’t under her command the others find the very odd. After all she was just a trained good guy gone to the dark side right? Happens all the time? Daniel smiled his toothy grin at her and asked her simply what the plans for the day were. He had been trying to get on Chris good side. She understood why he was new and very wet behind the ears. He didn’t know her complete story but it would only be time. He figured his way into Valden crew was to be buddy buddy and receive a prime reservation from Joe right hand woman. Well he picked the wrong day to try to get in her pants or be her best friend.
“Well Daniel, I’d prefer to eat and wake up in private. Though I am sure you have not been through the standard procedures and protocol yet. So let me make this real simple.” Daniel glanced at her dumbfounded. She grinned at him and set her roll down. “ When I need you I will find you. Until then you stay out of sight and out of my hair. You will only come to me if there is one an emergency or two you are having a personal issue you cant get straight. I’m always here to listen, but it best be important. And three do not underestimate me or I will make your life a living hell.” She said before taking a sip of her coffee and not flinching. “ Oh by the way the boys normal meet down the way in the morning at one of the local houses to catch up. Sometimes I drop by after my mornings sometimes I don’t and word of warning never bug me until I have had my coffee some say I can get a little wild. Ill let it slide this time. “ she said with a simple wink. He nodded and apologized before making his break to the door. Once he was out of sight she started laughing. Okay so maybe she just scared the beejesus out of the new guy. Her self appointed initiation ceremony. The others would set him straight. She wasn’t completely a hard ass.
Leaning back in her chair she savored the aroma of the freshly grinded coffee and she slowly sipped hers. Every day was a new torture to Chris. She battled the questions like what would the day hold, would anyone get hurt, would she hurt anyone and most of all would she get to go to bed again tonight and wake up and do it all again. She wasn’t sure how long this lifestyle would last. She was no longer making a difference in society she was corrupting it all but maybe it was so far corrupted that it didn’t matter what she did anymore. She just sat day dreaming in the coffee house as a new day began and every new day meant a new day to survive.
